Having a wellness policy in education would benefit both the employer and employees so as to ensure access to prevention and wellness services.

Dr Tomilola Oyekunle (MBBS MBPsS Mpsych) is a qualified Medical Doctor, a registered Psychologist with certifications in Child psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy. She earned her Medical degree over a decade ago from College of Medicine, University of Lagos and her Postgraduate degree from the department of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences Coventry University, United Kingdom. She has previous experience within National Health Services (NHS), Private organisations and Educational establishments.

Dr Oyekunle’s clinical interest lies within Clinical research, Mental health issues, Family therapy, Cognitive development, Pastoral Psychology, understanding behavioural patterns, understanding neurological disorders, encouraging healthy lifestyle and fostering positive difference in the lives of youths and young adults. She is a strong advocate for Suicide Prevention.

Dr Oyekunle is one of the directors at MindPlus Practitioners, a private Employee Assistance Program (EAP) delivery consortium led by mental health experts in Nigeria Africa. She encourages an holistic approach to emotional wellbeing at cooperate organisations with the aim of promoting a stable work life balance.

Dr Oyekunle also has deep interest in the health and emotional wellbeing of international students studying in Uk.
